Can I connect a projector through my mix track pro 3 and get some video effects that are not connected to the track just random stuff to play on screen that is built in with vdj also just want it to show video only not the decks that show my mixer

Not on your controller - that doesn't play a role in it
But you can connect it to your laptop, set it up as a second screen, and use the Shaders or Milkdrop features in VDJ to put cool graphics on it, that reacts to the music playing

.....plus of course you should only be doing this at home because you don't have a Pro license.
