just added new music to my harddrive. the songs are there if i search for them but the folders arent showing in the browser. ie - there should be a folder between Alivvve and Altered Natives called All Lo. what do?
does reanalyzing the containing folder for "bpm etc" find the new subfolders? my collection is big enough that doing this literally takes hours. it seems silly that thats the only way to make 3 new artist folders become visible.

Have you checked to see if they're shown in any other location (i.e. at the bottom of the folder list)?
In my opinion there's no need to put artists in individual folders anyway, since you're using the VDJ database - which will find the tracks wherever they are (and you say it does).

Close and reopen the parent folder that should hold the added folder/s, this will refresh the folder tree.
