Tema: Renaming a directory problems

I tried renaming a directory from within VDJ and ran into some problems.

Original path:
C:\Users\Doug\Music\DJ Files\Music To Sort\From www

So, I went into the "Local Music" folder in VDJ, found "Music To Sort" and attempted to change to "My Files" (Using the File Operations > Rename... context menu). At first it gave me an error. I don't remember what the error was. I figured, maybe some file was in use. So, I tried it again, and it looked like it was successful.

Then I noticed, VDJ couldn't find many of my songs. Although for most files, VDJ successfully changed to the new path and can find the songs (see automix area).

So I look at the file path where it thinks the "missing" files are, and see it's
C:\Users\Doug\Music\DJ Files\My Files\Music To Sort\From www

So instead of renaming the directory, for some files, it just added the new directory name to the path without removing the old one... Seems strange

So, I tried to go in the XML and edit it directly. I did a search and replace and found hundreds of files.
Now for this file, it has the correct path:

<Song FilePath="C:\Users\Doug\Music\DJ Files\My Files\From www\Sem Palavras.m4a" FileSize="3561715">
<Tags Author="Gerilson Insrael" Title="Sem Palavras" Year="2017" Bpm="0.666667" Key="Fm" Flag="1" />

<Poi Pos="203.750000" Type="automix" Point="fadeEnd" />
<Poi Pos="221.484989" Type="automix" Point="realEnd" />
</Song>

However, VDJ ignores my edits, and the path in VDJ is still incorrect.

So, two things:
1) Bug report: VDJ didn't correctly change the file paths, but only for some files.
2) Question: How can I now make VDJ have the right path for hundreds of files. Apparently changing the XML has no effect. I'm not sure where it's getting it's data from.

I notice that it still has the wrong path in the playlist for some songs. About to do a search and replace in all of those files and see what happens.

Also:

I'm using Windows 10 v8.4

Did a search and replace on all files in playlist directory. That worked.

So, the only issue is finding out why that happened in the first place, and hopefully fixing in future versions.

Thanks,
Doug
