So I notice that on certain circumstances the FPS on the SKIN drops and don't return to the normal value until the program is restarted.

That may depend on many things :
- the CPU
- the GPU and mode and drivers
- the Skin
- track resolution & bitrate & encoding
VDJ modify rendering depending on last used video source
now (latest builds increases fps with old GPU) and keep more power for better video fps
old ones were sharing power between skin and video
in a way to restore initial FPS it may be needed to close video window
and sometimes reload skin layout
or load other tracks

For know, i mapped a Key on my keyboard to the following action:
load_skin 'name of my custom skin'so this act like a "refresh" to the skin that i'm using and the fps goes back to 60fps
