Is there any limitation on the length of the file played by the event scheduler if you use the "Play file" option? I wasn't around for my radio show this morning, so I pre-recorded it last night (1 hour 10 mins) and set up VDJ to play the file at the scheduled start time. It began fine, but then bombed out at exactly 30 mins into the show.
I'm doing a different test at the moment, and have loaded the show onto deck 1, then changed the event to the script "deck 1 play" which seems to be working (I'm 50 mins into it so far and going well). But is the 30 minute thing a limitation for the "play file" option, or was there something else going on?
Failing that... does anyone know a good scheduler for playing an MP3 file at a specific time *on a Mac* that's free or cheap? It does seem a bit overkill to have the whole of VDJ loaded just to play one file. ;-)
