There are some great VSTs around, that would just be great applied to the whole mix, a bit like isolators are applied across the mix, eg, giving a valve or rotary-feel saturation, or some tweaks and eq for a particular room or sound system, or like a tilt eq to push into the background for the dinner section of a wedding or a lounge bar. The likes of Ableton have proper routing so can do this, but the likes of Serato and Traktor are years from anything like this, probably earning some of the software contempt of audiophiles. Would this be possible in VirtualDJ?

There is a master FX slot if that's what you're asking. It's covered in the manual.

Any idea how to script this?
EDIT, sorry found on this thread https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/223286/Wishes_and_new_features/Master_FX_2_slots_min.html
`deck master effect_slider 'my_vst' 1 10% & deck master effect_active 'my_vst'`
