Hi,
Upgraded to 2021 and all cue points lost. Unfortunately, I don't have a backup XML file. I do have access to the XML code and I have taken an extract below:
Can someone tell me if the cue points are identified in this, and any solutions? I do have notepad++ but not a developer so don't know what Im doing! Any help much appreciated.

So the cues are there...
And I dont see how you'd lose any cue points.
Did you delete VirtualDJ (and the database) when installing new version, instead of doing an upgrade?
Or log into a different Windows/macOS account?
(the local database is at the user account .. at /documents/virtualdj/ )

Thanks for your reply.
I didn't delete old version, selected upgrade.
I only have one XML database
VDJ is picking up the local music folder correctly but is not picking up the XML database (or schema?) any ideas to fix this community people !

The database has renamed itself in the installation showing as '' 'date' broken database''. When you open this XML file you receive an error message '' The file/directory could not be found.''
Virtual DJ repaired the database whilst installing, however, no cue points are now available.

How big is this file? at the drive.
Sounds like the file might have gotten corrupted.
"The file/directory could not be found" sounds more suspicious though, as if its on a cloud service or other drive, and the xml is just a link to file at other location (that is no longer present)

A bit of a long winding path solving this by chat, host your broken.xml to dropbox or something and send me a link to me on pm, "let the dog see the rabbit" as it were.
