If I was to "hide" a folder in the browser, will it be hidden only from view, or will it also be hidden from searches?
And if hidden, how does one get it back?

Hidden from view will not hide from searches.
If you want to hide from searches you can right-click the folder(s) and choose "batch=> remove from search".
To restore a hidden folder, for "system folders" (like online music, sampler, ask the dj etc), you can just right click the parent folder and choose "Show : XXXX"
Alternatively if its root (or not seeing all folders), you can click the browser sidebar to left at the option dot, choosing "Reset Folder View"

i accidentally deleted my music folder on vdj that accesses my music from my desktop how do i bring it back? i use a macbook air by the way.
