I am a beginner and have bought a TONOR Microphone to plug into the Mixtrack Platinum but I do not know what settings to use

The Mixtrack Platinum doesnt have any (software) settings for the mic.

This because its not part of the usb audio, rather its in hardware only, and routed straight to the speaker output (master) on the controller. And is fully operated at the controller only.

To record/broadcast such a mic, you need to "loop back" the sound from the controller sound output, back into a computer line-in. This is called a "record loopback", and quite common with some controllers ...
Basically an audio cable from the controller to a line-in at the computer.
Then add a "Record" entry in VirtualDJ sound settings, equal to this line-in.

Not sure what you meant.

You have microphone input on the controller.
But the sound from the microphone goes straight to the speaker output of the controller, and is not part of the computer usb audio interface (and can not be controller by computer, or VirtualDJ)

But for it to broadcast onto Virtual DJ, I need to use the microphone option?

Two options

1) Use a computer microphone (usb or to PC sound card). Mic operated by VDJ
2) Use the microphone on the controller with a loop-back to computer. Mic operated on controller, but can use with broadcast (see below))

For #2 you need to connect an audio cable from the sound output of the controller to a line-in at the computer. And then in VirtualDJ add a "Record" entry equal to this line-in
