I've waited and tested a lot before posting this, but since I can't find any other reasons I've done this post now.
I've discovered that changing the Pad-Modes on a DJM-S9 causes Virtual DJ to crash after a certain amount of time.
Before you watch the video:
YES, i know that nobody changes the pad-modes this fast.
But in real conditions it's like it stacks up on each other.
If you change modes more often it happens earlier...
If not it will last a while, but after a certain amount of time VDJ will crash (shoutout to the crash guard by the way).
- I've tried it with the factory settings and factory mapping.
- Tested if a pad_page could cause this (without the mixer) - no it doesn't.
- Always did new reboots of the MacBook itself.
- Driver and Firmware is up-to-date.
- Songs loaded or not doesn't matter.
- All other Apps closed.
- Nothing else plugged in.

Can you reproduce if the Sampler has one of the default Banks loaded (Instruments, Audio FX) ?
