I have an issue with the trim knob on the Pioneer XDJ-XZ. It controls the volume of samples in the sampler banks.
For some strange reason when you connect your laptop using the Link feature and a USB, VDJ adjusts every knob and fader position on the board except the sampler trim level. So the only way to get that knob to engage is to turn it way up and then back down before VDJ recognizes it. If you forget to do this before triggering a sample it will play the sample at max volume. (not good for your customers or your speakers).
Any solutions?
Thanks,
DJ James

Unfortunately, no. The position of this knob is not reported by the firmware when a Dump request message is sent to the device.

I see. So this is not a VDJ issue, but a firmware issue with Pioneer.
Thanks for the info.
