hello !!
i have a problem .. during my dj set three /four times per set the sound stops for a second and starts again .
my set up is pioneer ddj 1000 & macbook pro (8gb/256ssd/i5 ).
with my second contrller numark ns4fx i havent this problem ..
any solution ??

i just got a 1000 srt. made i march 2023 (even though pio says its discontinued? i would have to wait until mid july for the fly10. and thats my only time to go on vacation
anyway. turn off you 1000. hold down on the left side "play" and "shift". while turn it on. then you will get like a master ultility menu. make sure things are set their up right. i had to set the master attenuator down to -6 to get a lot less distortion. there are many tweaks within vdj under options. one is the pitch quality. mine is set to 4. because i have a really fast pc. maybe set your latency higher if thats possible on a mac. and update the firmware. and do a defrag or trim of the ssd. dont know if you can on a mac. but these drives

these are expensive but you can use this with a regular usb 3.0 port or usb c. i think its really m2 drives inside. i get around 800mbs with just usb 3.0

btw are you using stems? vdj now with stems requires a pretty hefty new gpu and cpu. and a 2015 macbook ( ssds from 2015 were mostly ssd. and some were really bad esp the western digital blue series and the samsung 830s). get the ssd replaced with a 2 tb if possible. or trade in your machine for a m1 mac?
