Hi! I would like to ask you some information. I have a hercules inpulse 200 mk2 console. Yesterday I downloaded VD and when I log in it tells me that there are 29 days left until the end of the trial. So, do you need a license to use the software with a console, even just at home?

Yes all hardware use requires a licence, the inpulse 200 mk2 has a home plus licence offering for $99 +tax.
That will give you lifetime hardware access for that model of device, [on any laptop with vdj installed, just log in] but only that model of device, and only suitable for non professional [unpaid] use.
So it's the cheapest option short term, but if you upgrade hardware or get addition devices like a launchpad or something like that, [or if you start gigging for money] you would need another licence, so long term a full pro licence [$299 +tax] is the smarter option.
