when I add lyrics overlay to a song that has a cover, the lyrics on the screen are cropped by the square shape of the song's cover. how to fix it?

letterBoxing was turned on 'bars'. Changing it on 'crop' didn't take any changes on the screen. Changing 'letterBoxing' on 'zoom' stretched both lyrics and image. It's better but not perfect.
So far the best way for me is manual removing the song's cover from the file before creating Lyrics Overlay

It seems the display of the text is locked to the display of the (in this case) cover, whereas ideally it would be independent.
