If anyone has figured out how to control the LEDS and lights on this device, please share your mapping and wisdom.

I have the device all mapped and working fine but still have not gotten control of LEDs and light.

Is this need for the definition specific to this controller?

I ask because I also use an old Akai APC Mini and I have no problem with the lights and LEDS on it and there is none of the parameters I am seeing in the file you linked for me.
 
A definition is required when the device is not officially supported (integrated into software)
We might get one in our hands. From what i see in the Programmer Guide of the device, it wont be easy to define this yourself.

Ok, probably in a couple of weeks.
BTW, What will you use this device for ? Mixing (Volume+EQ), Effects , some other ?
 
It is controlling EQ (all modes), stem blending/mixing, some effect control.

I can drop you my mapping as it is at this point.

Natively supported now in latest Public or Early Access Build - just have to run twice to get the silent update.
Should serve both MK1 and MK2 models.

Manual explaining functionality is coming soon.

The only issues i found was that there is no way to get the positions of the faders on startup, and the very limited amount of offered colors (just red, green, orange, yellow and a few shades of them - so not RGB)

Hope they add these on upcoming MK3
 
I will have an MK3 in a few weeks and let you know what work and does not work.

It is RGB I believe and has some read out screens, too.
