I'm considering getting the Pro Infinity ($299) license instead of the monthly subscription. Will I still need to login with my email or can I save the license on my machine so I don't have to login?

You still need to log in initially and then you can be "active" on two machines and as long as you don't log in to a third it will not need renewed. A file is left on your machine with the license to be checked by the software.,

If one were offline, could they be active on three machines?

Pretty sure the machine still needs to be online at some point to refresh the license.
There are no real reasons to keep a machine totally off the internet unless you're using a PC from 2002.
If that is the case you need to contact support who can provide a fully offline license separately.

i've often wondered this.....
so i have the infinity license, you say....
1 - I can load VDJ to as many machines as i want (would then be the free home version).
2 - If I wanted, I can register my license on 2 machines which VDJ will register their end.
- what happens if a third is registered out of curiosity (guessing the account gets blocked)
Question - the 2 machines that are now fully registered, if they are online (on the net) at the same time, do they have to be both on the same network? - I ask this as i often try to tether connections either by in house wifi or mobile hotspot.

1 - Yes. The most recent two logged in will operate as Pro Infinity
2 - As above, the third machine (or older) will just be logged out, not blocked in any way
3 - No they do not need to be on the same network.
