Looking for a Virtual DJ mapping expert help ! The numark NV2 is supported and mapped for VDJ8 HOWEVER ! On the NV each channel has two buttons to assign each (FX1,FX2,FX3) left and (FX1,FX2,FX3) right ….to any of the 4 channels.
Labled as FXA and FXB (3 dials each side)
In serato you can then assign FXA to any Deck, or many. And the same for FXB, directly with buttons on the mixer section.
I know VDJ can handle 6FX on one deck, but how can I assign these buttons to ‘toggle’ which deck to apply these FX ? I want to be able to apply FXA or FXB (three dials each) to multiple decks or both to one deck. There are 4 ‘A’ buttons one for each channel, and 4 ‘B’ buttons for each channel .
If ‘A’ button ON CH1 - left 3 dials effect deck 1
If ‘B’ button ON CH1 - right 3 dials effect deck 1
If ‘A’’ and ‘B’ ON all 6 dials effect deck 1
And the same for CH1 CH2 CH3 and CH4 (yikes !)
In the ‘mapping’ section, there’s a clone 1 and clone 2 ‘action’ already on those buttons. But nothing happens…would love some insite : )
