Tópico: VDJ 2026 Compatibility
Is VDJ 2026 compatible with OS Tahoe on an M2 MacBook Pro using a Pioneer DDJ-SZ2? Can't seem to find anything about this anywhere.

VDJ isn't the issue, the issue is between your o/s & your controller, check with pioneer.

Not having an issue. Just asking if anyone is using similar setup with no issues. Don’t want to update OS or VDJ if I can’t find out everything works. I’ll keep using current OS and VDJ 2025 until I know for sure.

This is the page you want to check:

https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/landing/support-for-macos-tahoe-26/

As @locodog said, the VirtualDJ version isn't the issue, the hardware support is.
This update seems especially nuanced since quite a few popular controllers (at the time of writing this) are still verification in progress, with Pioneer/AlphaTheta saying a driver update may be likely for them.
Given the DDJ-SZ2 is not even directly listed on that page, I'd tread with caution - given your current OS level works, I'd keep it there and update VirtualDJ.

SZ2 is officially unsupported. which means pioneer will not release any more drivers for sz2 for the MacOS tahoe or any moving forward.

SZ2 works on macOS tahoe but you dont have the record or broadcast capability and the pioneer driver window will show it is not installed. It is a risk which i personally wouldnt take in a public setting because technically ur running a controller on a pseudo drive macos tahoe thinks it has. it could crash anytime.

thats why i am planning to upgrade to the xdj az now. damn the price.
