Can I use the console with other soundcards in the full version, like an stand-alone external controller.
Meaning : the console is only plugged in via usb and no audio out connections from the controller. The actual sound comes out of the existing sound cards.
This would ideal for me because I have two sblive set-up and working perfectly, so I wont need to switch cables everytime I want to use the console. If so, i'm gonna buy this prog !!

Ah, but has the full version support for the DJ console, ie does it respond to the USB commands ??

Choose Hercules(w/inverse pitch and "stickscratch"), Midi, DMC1/DAC2 or the XP10.
All alternatatives can be "ticked" at once too, maybe you can use 'em all at once. Or XP10 for playback controls, and a midi keyboard or controller separately to run fx, samples and special functions. Guess that's the point of a FULL version ;o)

BUT I can't get the sound through the DJConsole configured correctly with Vdj 1.08 full...
What I'm trying to do is map cue/pre to the Headphone outlet in the Hercules console.
Guess this is a special mapping in the Hercules version of Virtual DJ.
It's no BIG problem - guess it'll run fine in Hercules 5.1 mode, 4.1+mixtable in audio setup and my Numark for cue.
Hooking it up later.
Guess I can always use the included Herc. vdj version for "off set" cueing..
