Hi peeps just a quick question
I use virtual dj 3 times a week, nightclubs and parties.
When i use automix set to say 8 seconds mix,the cross fader shoots to the center then to the other side ( for a total of 8 seconds ) That is fine.
But is there a way for me to force the crossfader to evenly slowly crossfade across the whole fader, without it stopping in the middle ? in automix mode. This happens on programs like Traktor ?
Im sure someone has an answer
Thanks guys. Love the program.

are you using force fade?

yeah im using force fade.
ok here is an example. i want to let a list of songs play straight after each other. no mixing. and with no overlapping. So i set it to force fade and fade length 1 second. But the cross fader still shoots across too fast with overlapping of the songs. So is there a way to slow the fader down in automix mode?
hope you can understand what i mean
Thanks

I had the same question. I think Virtual DJ needds to re-instate a small part of the program which allowed for a fade-out/fade-in of songs with little to no actual mixing involved. I couldn't praise Virtual DJ at my holiday party when trying to mix regular standard (non-club) music.
