I use Reason mostly - its way beyond anything else I've come across. It seems to be in a league of its own when it comes to producing techno trax. Cubase is cool but not as flexible as Reason. Only problem with Reason is the price - cost me £300 (about 550 USD I think). You'd be surprised how many of the tunes we must all mix were developed & produced in Reason.
You need a meaty machine for it though.
