Does anyone know and or tried Tascam CDX-1500 and CDX-1700 DJ CD Players? They have a scratch controller, TT-M1, that can be used with a turntable to control the CD players mentioned above. http://tascamdj.com/TT-M1.html http://tascamdj.com/index.html It's a device that sits at a corner of your turntable and shines a light unto a regular vinyl record. The concept seems pretty kewl. One wouldn't need ccd's or tcd's. The TT-M1 is free with a purchase of one othe the above cd players. Just curious here.

as far as i know its a wheel that sets on the record not a light and it has some digital phasing sound when scratching juts like most cd players. seen a video of dj keltech testing it out and it seemed ok just that the smaple he was scratching seemed to move from his marker on the record.

Oh, ok. I saw a red light shining on the records in the picture. I wonder how that work on a flat surface, as they claim.
