Ground loop isolators work sometimes. Sell those at Radio Shack. If you can try lifting the ground on your mixer or if you have a three prong plug convert to a two prong with an adaptor and see if it makes a difference (don't do that on your amp I had that issue on an external harddrive and it worked fine when I lifted the ground on it) Good luck

A quick fix would be to connect a wire from the mixer to the amp. The problem you are having is that somehow your system is not grounded. If after connecting the wire you still have the hum it might be that your volume controls are up too high on both the mixer and amp. I would not hook a wire to my lap top.
I set my controls at 75% of max and adjust things from there is i need it.
