Hi guys,
I'm sorry if I don't know this one but I need to Know who sing the song that says the roof, the roof , the roof is on fire, burn mother#%@^&er. The reason I am asking is because somebody requested it the other day and I didn't Know who sing it.

Thanks in advance.

there are different versions of the song. the one I play here in Belgium is: follow the leader from the socca boys. I think there is also an R&B song, but that I don't know.

Yeah man... You have to be more specfic about which one you are looking for.

Many groups have re-donr "The roof is on fire"

It was done in Hip Hop, Rock, Punk Rock and others.

Do you know which one you are looking for?

You probably want the "Rockmaster Scott" Version." West Bam" made a version. "Too Cool Chris" also did a version at 137bpm's. Hope this helps.

The song is called "FOLLOW THE LEADER", but there's many versions from different bands.

The most known in Spain is the Soca Boys (I've found this link http://www.discogs.com/artist/Soca+Boys ) because it was included on "Baja Beach" Cd.

Baja Beach is a quite popular disco.

You can try

2 Live Crew and Whodini

Both have made a version of "The roof is on fire"

2 Live crew is Booty music
Whodini is VERY old school Rap.

I believe Rick is on it, the original that came out in the mid 80s was Rockmaster Scott.

i like the house version of Soca Boys- Follow the leader. i thinks its wayyyy better than the original. Dosent sound completly hardcore house, and not completly caribean, so its a good mix.

Not for nothing, but didn't I say that in the fourth post of this thread? Maybe i'm using invisible type. I'm going to have to use a different keyboard. At least you found the track.
