I just bought the hercules dj contol mp3 console. I think its ok since im pretty much a beginner but im unable to preview the deck that the music is not currently playin from. Does anyone know of any way around this?
Plus i know its a bit early but i wanted to know if anyone can tell me what it takes to be able to broadcast my skills on this.

I thought the HERCULES was a soundcard itself.
Maybe for PREVIEW, you have to use the onboard soundcard of your computer or other soundcard.

Judging by your icon you have the Hercules DJ console MK2 :), To preview properly from the headphone port you need to set the console in "DJ mode" in the consoles settings program.
I think with the console edition of VDJ you can broadcast to your own private site/server but you can't broadcast to VDJ radio (unless you purchase VDJ pro).
