Hi how is it you use the headphones in virtual dj? Can you just plug a basic set of headphones into the back of the computer somewhere or does anything 'technical' need done, as im not very good when it comes to that caper

Yup, the simplest solution with a 5.1 soundcard is to plug speakers in one stereo output (front speakers), while the headphones in the other one (rear speakers).
There are of course many other possibilities with a stereo splitter (for two mono outputs), you can also use 2 or 3 soundcards, just choose the right picture under the SoundCard settings in VDj preferences. But all these features are ONLY available IN FULL VERSION, demo has that restriction.
