i have a laptop and i cant get hold of 1 of those spliters i ony have 1 sound card. but the port 4 the head phones needs 2 be big the same size as a norm jack plug my head phones are dear.and the other end is going 2 played throw my mixer . is there any where in the uk i can get 1 i dont like getting things from abroad ?????

I didn't understand ya quite right, but I think you need a external sound card (USB or PCMCIA). Because I don't have a PCMCIA, I use USB Sound Blaster Live, it's the cheapeast solution, if you don't wanna use Timecode Vinyls or Timecoded CD's (it's around 60 euro). Others are Audigy, Maya 44 etc. Choice is yours.

You could do some things to get a splitter:
- Get some plugs some wires and make something yourself
- Go to your local hifi store and ask there
- Browse to a pro store for musical instruments or dj gear and ask there.
On the other hand I don't know if it is possible in the home version to use this splitter.

Maplin sell what you're after but check it will work with the home version first.
