I went to this computer junkyard place and I found a pentuim 4, 512mb, 40 gb hard drive pc for $200. It comes with everything and a sound blaster sound card. Do you think this is a good deal? thanks

For that price it is ok, but check that is not bad quality or malfunctioning somehow. Cheap things sometimes have hidden faults that seller will never tell you!

If it is plugged in and connectedm maybe take a copy of this software install TEMPORARILY and connect your external hd. If they want to sell bad enough, shouldn't be an issue
