Hey all,
I'm getting a mixer to use with vdj externally. I need something basic to learn the ropes. I was looking at several on Ebay and found a lot of what seem like good deals on numarks and such. Any good suggestions. NUMARK RACKMOUNT ANALOG MIXER DM1002MKII is what i was seriously considering. Also can i do the same things with a scratch mixer as a normal mixer?
Thanks

This mixer is not bad for start and even for seriously use. Main differenties between normal and scratch mixers are:
scratch mixer: optical, easy to move crossfader and rotary buttons for fade lenght of crossfader, kill switches. Mixers for use without scratch usualy don't have these features.
I think that yours is a type of scratch mixers.
And to connect your mixer to VDJ yu need also PRO version of VDJ.
