ROTFL!! Thats funny. Actually they have add-ons so you can carry things like your golf clubs and smaller things. My uncle has a couple of them and uses it instead of his gas guzzling SUV when taking short trips to Blockkbuster or the grocery store to pick up small things. They are pretty fun. If you have a place near you to rent one, I reccomend trying it.

Almost the same as tunic here in London, 96p a litre, £3.63 per gallon (US metric). So we pay $6.84 a gallon, expensive eh.. I guess I should be greatful our U46DJ is half the price though :-)

http://www.petrolprices.com/ for UK residents, may help you find cheaper stations.

Right???!! In all seriousness (And really hope no one took me serious with the Segway comment.), I'm really considering spending the extra money and getting a hybrid of some sort. With everything going on in the Middle East (And no signs of it getting any better), gas is going totally out of control. Time for alternative fuels to be looked at a lot more seriously as well. Even for the people who don't drive the gas prices are having a really bad ripple effect on our economy.

Yes they are having a negative impact on the economy...as far as research....who do you think owns the patents to the best alternative fuel vehicles..the oil company's do ..it's no secret that water when broken up ..splits into 2 combustible gases...the process takes alot of electricty to break up , but im sure they found a way......but who's ganna make money if cars run on water? No one.....well maybe the Spring Water Company's - for higher grade water. seriously who has to go for gas prices to drop?

Just curious... whats the minimum wage in your parts of the world? In New Zealand its about $12/hr and petrol costs us $1.75 per litre for 91.
I know of some places where the minimum wage is around $5 and petrol is nearly $2 per litre... go figure :|

Here in the Windy City of Chicago it is $3.35 a gallon and should go up to about $4.00 a gallon by September. The War on Terror is very costly. That is why countries should try more drilling or even better yet, try alternative fuel sources as to get away from using oil from such volitale sources such as the Middle East. Because while Israel whips Hamas' and Hezballoah's asses.
