I've read that a few systems can allow you manipulate the music on your ipod. I was wondering if VDJ4 can do this. I'm not talking about ITUNES i'm talking about the Ipod. That way you could use someone else's laptop and your own Ipod/music.

But as long as it shows up as a removable harddrive at your Windows pc + dont have nasty iTunes DRM connected to it, it should work fine ;)

I've an iPod.
Songs in iPod (from iTunes Software tranfers) are named and ordered in "hidden" folders and strange track names. Only when you open them with WMP or others you can see the ID3tag or similar info to know which song is which file (with hundreds of songs it's impossible to work).
You alse can use iPod as external hard drive to store any kind of files, so this files will be working fine in VDJ4, but you can not listen to them on iPod ('cos are FILES for iPod and not songs).
I haven't tested my iPod with VDJ.4 but it seems we only can see the FILES stored directly as External Drive. Maybe if we import the iTunes playlists we could use the other songs too.
(Hope you understand the crazy explanation) LOL

I just tried it last night too with an 80GB ipod and although the songs showed up (after UNHIDING THEM IN EXPLORER), the title/artsts were all mucked up.
