You know I remember seeing a member having DAC3 issues with what you are asking for, I am wondering if we can already do this (Random Transitions) or if it was something written into the mapper. I too agree that random would be awesome.
 
My DAC-3 mapper has a random video transition feature which automatically changes the transition randomly after you have performed a video crossfade. VDJ can't currently do this, but it might be possible if a plugin was created.
 
Cool! I'd like that. Hate having to remember to keep changing the transition effects.
