The reason you would want to be able to do this is that when you lock the key and drop the pitch by beyond 70% or so you get a really really cool electric chopping effect (one of my personal favorite effects). I'm sure other people have other reasons for wanting to do that as well like a really good and controllable way to break. Anyway think about it.

Dude, why THE FUDGE are you posting, if you have absolutely NO IDEA what you're talking about? IT'S NOT TRUE, all current versions of VDj can pitch only up to +/-34% without a plug-in, period. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO EDIT THE XML of the slider TO GET 100% PITCH behavior because "factor" parameter is only available on "visual" and "scratch" elements.
And above all, you're not helping the guy, you're actually deceiving him into spending money for a solution that doesn't exist! He will buy the software if he wants it, otherwise it's not really hard to get a cracked version these days...

I would LOVE to have this feature as well, as I use the WIDE setting for pitch on CDJ-1000 very often. It creates a very nice effect especially in conjunction with master tempo.
