Is it possible to make a plug in that will randomly (or when required by pressing a key). Make a picture appear on the screen? Preferably fading in and out not just off or on.
I had Winamp do it once. I think I was using Milkdrop. I could press a key and the picture I had loded in would sort of bounce across the screen from top to bottom and I think there was even a level of transparancy you could set. At the time I was only doing a bit of karaoke so didn't look into it too deep, but now I would use it all the time.

that would be a nice adon to the slideshow plugins or could be a good addon to a visual
