VDJ don’t support the MIC on the BCD2000,, Can’t use MIC through VDJ..
I want to use the MIC control on the BCD2000 directly to a USB sound card not through VDJ..
Will this work?
Computer to USB Sound CARD
BCD2000 to USB Sound Card

Let me understand what you mean. You want to plug your mic in the mic input of a sound card (not BCD)..right?
Then you will not be able to control the mic through the BCD Controller, because you choose another sound card not the BCD.
The mic issue will be fixed if and when VDJ will support ASIO Mic.

Ok ,,, I think I understand… One more question….. Why do you need to use ASIO, I don’t need to with my MK1?

Paulettecerra: sorry for repply to late...i've been too bussy latlely, but no, the mic is not suoported by VDj in ASIO MODE and answering to your previous post...the answers is not...The BCD does not work alone as a sound card, it needs a software to work with it in order to work as a sound card. i made all the test arround and bcd looks lke it works but it needs a software to run so...sorry let see if VDJ work better in a future to souport Mic on ASIO mode...but here is a solution for you...if You want to use Mic with your BCD, you could use DJDECKS I can tell you that it works even in ASIO mode you need to choose BCD as a aound card and mic will work also...I know DJDECKS is not so good as a VDJ does but is a solutions for all those that want to use mic on BCD...

The sound is much better with ASIO drivers

Why would mic need low latency in?
I would guess MIC on WDM and ASIO mode are the same :)
