Hello,
VDJ 3 had the option to enable a limiter, but I can't see this in VDJ 4. Does it mean it has always a limiter, or am I overlooking things?

Hi,
I think i remember hearing that they got rid of the limiter feature on VDJ 4. The sound quality on it wasn't very good so they scraped it i think.
If you want one though, have a look in the VST effects forum, there's lots of compressor effects which do a similar sort of thing
:)

Thanks, gonna check it out. Usually I compress and limit in ableton after the mix is done, but I just missed the option in 4.x.
The difficulty with limiting via sound fx is that you have to enable the plugin for the whole set on both decks (I know how it's done, but it was easier in 3.4, as it was just a setup feature).
