Hi im looking for some help here. Im trying to record my mix through vdj Im using external mixer. I was able to record but there were alot or static noise with it. also i tried to play with volume control but couldnt figure it out yet. Is there i could do about it? Or is there another programs i could use to record my mix.

Does your mixer have a record out on the back? It's a fairly common feature. I've found the best way to record with an external mixer is to get a cable that is rca on one end and 3.5mm on the other. Plug the rca's into your record out, plug the 35mm into your laptop's mic in, and you're set! Just hit config on the record screen, and choose line in. I've been recoring mixes all week with that one!

thats what i have a rca cable. and i plug it in in booth out... and i get that static noise
