I did a fresh install of VDJ, the latest version, and now the software is not recognising my DAC-2. Any ideas?
To give a little background, I originally started using the DAC with PCDJ. I then upgraded to VDJ sometime in the v3's. Recently, I had my Motherboard go bad, so now that I have it replaced, I loaded the latest version of VDJ and the DAC drivers. I think before the problem, the DAC was on COM4 (even though it's connected by a USB) and it worked without fail. Do I need to have a load of PCDJ on the computer for it to work? I wouldn't think so, it seems like I would just need the drivers. However, when I go into the Remote Control tab, I click on the DAC-2 and try Auto-Detect, USB and all of the COM's and none of them will detect it. Help?!?!?!
Maybe someone can shed a little light on the subject?
Cheers,

I installed my DAC-2 & downloade the drivers, it worked for a short time & then went deat, ( No Liights ) I un-plug & re-plug the unit and it lites up for about 3 seconds and goes out again. Am I doing something wrong or is it defective
