I'm thinking about purchasing an Ecler NU04. I also own SSL. Will routing to the Ecler NU04 mixer eliminate the need for the breakout box? I.E. do you just route by USB from your laptop to the mixer? If so i can just get rid of my SSL breakout box...correct?

Nuo4 does not have soundcard, so you still need a soudcard, like the SSL box :)

Short of a twice more expansive mixer (DJM800), that's the best mixer I've used so far.

I have used the Ecler NUO 4 for about a year now and like the many functions. But yes , you still need a sound gard. I currently use a pair of Xp 10 controllers and am very happy with the combination of the Ecler and the Xp 10's.
