Hi!

I've downloaded the trial version of the VirtualDJ and I think i have a IRQ issue with my sound card. The sound is cracking bad, with all performance settings in VDJ. I Noticed that there is probably a conflict with my integrated soundcard and few other devices. But the thing is I can't change the IRQ's of these devices. I have XP professional that won't let me change the IRQ with device manager (suprise!?). BUT the real problem is that in BIOS i can only see 15 IRQ thingys, and the conflict is in IRQ value 23 (WHAAT!?) So have anyone solved this kind of problem, I really need help.

My computer:

AMD 3700+
2Gb ram
7900gt
Soundblaster live 5.1 (no conflict)
Realtek AC 97 (conflicts with ATA driver and USB driver)

Ok now I got the soundcard to a different IRQ value, but the sound is still cracking. Can the devices cause cracking if they are not soundcards but are in a same IRQ value? If not, any guesses what is wrong with my computer?

Don't use internal sound cards with VDJ. It demands more than those crappy built-in ones.

Yes I have the latest demo version. I got rid of the cracking sound, but I think my soundcards are off sync. After about 10 minutes of listening you can notice that the speakers are something like 1/8 of a beat foward than the headphones.

I think I'm gonna get a external soundcard maybe maya44, will VDJ work with it well?
