Hey I plan to use two technic sl 1200 mk 2s w/ timecoded vinyl and a normal mixer (maybe a vestax?). What is the best way to hookup the mixer so i can scratch like the guy shown on the tutorial vid? Is there any way around buying a hercules mk2 (although it looks worth the purchase). Note: I have not upgraded/added a secondary sound card so I have only one output, input, and mic input available. Thanks

Yes buy an external sound card like the Maya. But you need an ASIO compatible external soundcard. Go to the general forum and there is a video that is very instructional on hooking it up.
