I'm new to the digital world of DJing & would like some help on configuring my laptop with the Gigaport AG soundcard and the DAC 2 controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To be more specific I really need help configing the software to run all together not so much the laptop. Sorry about that...

to use these you must use virtual dj the newer product from atomix

I do have the latest & greatest version of virtual dj. What do you suggest next?
 
what are you trying to achive with the card?

external mixer?
simple output to a speaker?

as to the dac go to the remote control tab

and tick the dac 2 box.

it will now control

 
Thanks for the help. Here is my set-up.

External Mixer XLR out to the speakers.
Gigaport Sound Card USB to the laptop & RCA to the Mixer.
DAC 2 controller USB to the laptop also.

I've enabled the DAC 2 under the remote section but it does not control it the way it is set-up. It does not even read it or see the DAC controller all the time. Do I need to download the drivers from the VDJ site or something that will map the DAC 2 to VDJ?
