Hi, I have just bought an Hercules DJ Controller (MKII) and it came with VirtualDJ (DJ control) software.
My first task is to rip my vinyl records to wav format but I am having trouble doing so. I have connected an turntable to the phono input of the hercules but I am not getting any sound through my pc speakers using the software.
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong here? This is all new to me as I have always mixed using decks and mixer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you enabled sound recording on your sound card? You can do it in Control Panel or in settings of MK2 in the tray icon.
