I've got a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Music. It has 2 inputs (it has a line-in and an aux-in). But how can I tell VDJ or ASIO4ALL that he must use the line in as channel 1&2 en the aux-in as channel 3&4. ASIO4ALL gives an error with the message "Error in the ASIO driver: Not enough channels".

Has that soundcard the front part like the x-fi platinum? otherwise it won't be possible to use it in asio mode cause you need 2 stereo inputs and 2 stereo outputs for the use of tcvs or tccds.

It has 4 stereo outputs and 2 stereo inputs .... Aux-in is a stereo input. But I can't say to VDJ that he must use the standard input and the aux-in. I can only select one. When I select in windows volume control the aux input, the aux works, when I select the standard input, the standard input works. But I can't select both ... Is there a way to do this? Can't VDJ create an option to select both inputs? I think you could do this in an older version (http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/ where they explain the signal configuration you can select an input).

Thanks for your reaction

You need to break the inputs in order that vdj recognize 2 stereo inputs and 2 outputs, but if you don't have the frontal pannel is not possible to map the inputs and outputs in the registry at least I tried to do so in an older version with no luck, anyway you can try by changing the values e.g. 10 11 01 02 , etc you can play with them in the asio registry and check, good luck :)

Yes, you got it that's the part you were missing; frontal pannel is fot tcvs or tccds inputs and the rear pannel for the ouputs, there's a registry for vdj 4x that made acw you just need to apply it, I used it with tccds with no problems, regards.
