Hello everyone, I am using a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop with ATI Radeon graphics card.
When running karaoke nights, I need to connect my via an RCA video phono cable into the scart block on the back of my TV. This is so I can split the signal to multiple TV's via an RCA splitter if needed.
I have tried using a s-video to RCA converter and plugging directly into the Yellow port on the back of my scart block, and extending the windows desktop, both via the display properties in Windows and using the ATI control center and forcing TV detect.
But I cannot get an image on screen.
Any ideas would be greatly apprecieted, could use the VGA port if there is an alternative method but need to be able to the video signal to multiple Tv's using scart or RCA phono.
Thanks to you all in advance.
Brendon,
Little Drummer Boy.

Could you plug something like a DVD or video player into the s-video cable you've got with all that other stuff plugged in to it, just to check that you've got the cables plugged in right and none of your converters are broken?

Get yourself one of these:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=169832&Sku=G126-1002
It's a signal converter. Takes VGA/RGB signals and converts them to s-video or composite video(yellow rca)
I use one for the same thing - when I have to change video out signals.
Personally I think it's overpriced - but it does work.

Try Lektropacks
They have loads of usefull adaptors/convertors and distribution amps. Ime shure they would have something to do the job.
