The Club owners will fight it!
No doubt! Someone will come up with a single legal team and all the clubs will be asked to pitch-in for legal fees and tie this up in the courts until the lables settle on a more reasonable price.
It works like any law suit, you ask for a million and settle for 250 thousand; instead of asking and fighting for what you deserve, you ask for more and let the judge decide.
