Is there a video of the NTC showing the scratching mode? i haven't been able to fing one online, or can someone please make a scratching video of it? i'm trying to decide between NTC which i really like, VCI-100 and Xponent, i have seen the last two in action but not the NTC, thanks in advance.

For scratching you should consider TCV, take a look:

there is a video of it on you tube but its very brief and basicly just shows that you can.
acually there are a couple i think but non are of someone acually scratching, just showing that you can and playing with it for a few seconds.

TCV is nice but I want to go digital and was hoping to save some money buying one of the midi controllers mentioned but i'll probably just wait a little longer and i'll get a Pioneer 800 mk2 or something similar, thanks guys.

Yeah, you need better/bigger jogs for proper scratching. For digital consider also:
