Can some one tell me why vdj mac version dose not expand to the whole screen on macbook pro? once you maximise it leave blank space on both right and left hand side of the program.

that's because the skin is in 4/3 format (1024x768)
But registred users have access to skins that are in the correct format for macbook users:

no do not think this is the case. as the basic interface of the software had the same problem.

because the default skin is smaller than your screen...
larger full screen skins , are available for pro users
