Hello
i just put that question on the german forum, but theres noone who could answer me.

so here again
am i able to control the effects of vdj with the mk2 without using a mouse?
and if it works, how can i do this?

thx in advance for yr answers

ive got the home edition 3.4 of vdj and the hercules mk2

It will be a pain to do and not worth it. If you upgraded to Pro level there is a mapper. I use the MK2 for affects currently but is time consuming because I like to just look down and see where things are.

You also have to remember what function the MK2 is on... Thinking it's on effects but really your on loops or cue.

best to click the mouse or set keystrokes.

press the console action , selectors until the fx light is on , now 1 , will control fx 1 , 2 will control fx 2 , and 3 Fx 3

press once to start , press one to stop

Yes, you need mapper from DJ CEL but you need Pro version to download it. But you can map it in Home version too in Self learning section of MIDI.

guys hes using 3.4 so it uses the old behavior which is easy for the console you only need to use the mapper for V4:)

hi i dont think about turning on and off the effects, i know how to do that with the mk2
what im speaking of is to change the values of the effects during playing
e.g. the filter effect, how can i control the red point with the mk2?
can i do that without upgrading to pro version?
what about the self learning midi section
what is this? where is this?
can you tell a bit more detailed
