I have been reading some posts about the use of the numark CDX, and it seems to work well from what I hear. I am currently using VDJ home edition, with no midi control, just pretty much fooling around with the program. I saw a CDX at guitar center and got a chance to play around with it, and I really felt comfortable with it. I read some posts about peaple just using 1 CDX with VDJ and just switch decks using the eject button. How well does this really work, only using 1 CDX?

Just so people are clear - you are talking about the Turntable CDX?
Reason I post it is that I haven't seen many posts from people about the CDX, but there are several here that use the iCDX, the table-top CD player / USB Controller.

The switch with the eject button you are talking about can only be done with the iCDX, not the CDX.
The CDX can only be used with timecode only, while the iCDX is full HID MIDI compatible and it's also pre-mapped to work with VDJ/VV/CUE
